Charles River Jazz Festival is the Boston Jazz Foundation’s flagship event, created to connect the greater Boston community with the art of jazz.

This was my second year designing the event branding. The team wanted a fresh style, keeping with a similar concept to the year prior. The color scheme, derived from a collection of old album covers, provides a high graphic contrast. I paired it with a bold sans-serif to grab the viewer’s attention, whether they’re scrolling by an ad on social media or walking by a poster on the street.
